The latest Aurora Pro Clean team member to take up their paid days off to help charity got stuck in at a local charity shop.

Ellana donated a whole day to help out behind the counter at Oxfams Covent Garden store. The busy store in 23 Drury Lane, Covent Garden is one of several London shops. Tasks involved serving customers, creating exciting displays and helping on the till.

William Rodriguez Managing Director at Aurora said, “We are doing our best to encourage our team members to take their 3 charity days off every year. We have been running the “Charity days” scheme for 2 years now and it’s starting to prove very popular. It has taken some effort to identify charities and good causes that allow volunteers. It is starting to become very popular. We actively encourage our team to nominate good causes that are close to their own heart.”

Oxfam is dedicated to building a just and safer world focusing on people's basic rights. They are passionate about ending poverty and helping to rebuild the lives affected by it.

It's an enormous undertaking but Oxfam also have people on their side - talented and committed partners, volunteers, supporters and staff who share the same values.

Aurora actively support a number of charities every year and encourage their teams to take up to 3 paid days off per year to support charities of their choice.
